Playmake is a place to create games and play games made by other people. These terms cover the Playmake website, app, and related services (“Playmake”).

1. Using Playmake

By using Playmake, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use Playmake, and they must agree to these terms on your behalf where required by law.

If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. Your games and content

You keep the rights you have in the ideas, prompts, games, and other content you submit. Only submit material you own or have permission to use, including any personal information about someone else.

You give Playmake a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, adapt as technically necessary, and display your content to operate the service. For content you publish, this includes making it available for other people to play and share through Playmake. This does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

This license lasts while your content is available through the service, with limited continuation where needed for backups, legal obligations, and copies already shared with others. We cannot promise that copies made by other users will disappear when content is removed.

3. AI-generated games

Playmake uses AI services to help create games and assets. Generated results may contain errors, resemble other content, or be unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review a game before publishing or relying on it. We do not guarantee that generated material is unique, copyrightable, or free of third-party rights.

4. Be considerate

Do not use Playmake to break the law, infringe someone’s rights, harass or exploit others, share private information without permission, or distribute harmful or deceptive content. Do not introduce malware, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or misuse accounts and systems.

We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, or comply with the law.

5. Availability and changes

Features may change, be limited, or become unavailable. Previews and experimental games may not work on every device. We will explain any paid features and their prices before you choose to purchase them; using a free preview does not create a payment obligation.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you visit the website, create an account, or make and play games.

7. Ending your use

You may stop using Playmake at any time. You can delete your account at any time from the settings page in the app, or request account or content deletion by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, or legal requirements. Where practical and permitted, we will explain the reason and how you can contact us about the decision.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Playmake is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

9. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the new version here with an updated date and provide additional notice when required by law.
